My biggest inspiration in all of my artwork is nature. The beauty and lively spirit of the wilderness is something that has always captivated me and continues to bring peace to my soul. I can't help but feel compelled to truly celebrate our world this week.
Even though the weather has been dismal for the beginning of the week, I'm still considering exactly how to plan my garden (it's on a pretty atrocious hill) including native pollonator plants and large growth herbs. I loved working with native plants last summer, and it was all worth it on the days our porch was swarmed by monarch butterflies.
I also adore looking out our windows and seeing the trees surrounding our house, and I've been thinking of adding some more of these to a few places. There are always things to consider with type, placement, height, etc., but haing shade readily available and a good spot to curl up with a book or magazine is something I crave.
So, I'm hoping to continue to celebrate this beautiful planet and bring more (plant and wild) life to its presence. With a little help these are certian to inspire all of us here on Earth for years to come.
