One of my custom pieces for the week is this geometric square blanket. I adore the square pattern for the main piece. I love the linear simplicity, and it works very well for a baby blanket. It's one I've used for many things because it's so easy to manipulate, use in the round, and use straight across.
The edging is a pattern manipulation to create a soft floral touch. I wanted to make it a bit more frilly and feminine. It does have a slight curl, so I will make a few adjustments to even things out.
I also revived one of my horses in the same set of colors. I never quite know how these will go until finished, but I adore the way the mane turned out for this little one.
